BRANZ Survey on Engineered Wood Products

BRANZ are seeking your input to help understand the potential drivers, incentives and barriers for uptake and acceptance of engineered wood products (EWPs) across the building industry in New Zealand.  EWPs include the full range of structural and non-structural building materials made from timber and timber fibre. This includes things like laminated veneer lumber (LVL), cross laminated timber (CLT), plywood, particleboard and other composite wood products. As part of a longitudinal survey series dating from 2019, and last repeated in 2022, we are collecting another round of evidence through this 2024 survey.

This survey will take about 10 minutes and will help identify where and how EWPs are being used across the New Zealand built environment, from acceptance and design through to supply and delivery of completed buildings. Your feedback will help determine what is needed to support current and increased use of EWPS in New Zealand homes and buildings.

By completing the survey and providing contact information, you’ll go into a draw to win one of three Prezzy cards valued at $300 each.  Any information collected will be securely stored without any identifying individual responses.  The survey will be open until 15 April 2024.

The survey can be done on a computer or other device by clicking here or using the QR code in the story image.
